This website is managed by Hand to Hand Against Nation Apathy – H.A.N.A, a civil society organisation based in Lezhë, Albania, acting as the WP5 lead beneficiary of the EU FACTOR project (Project Number 101253985), funded by the European Union under the CERV Programme (CERV-2025-CITIZENS-CIV).

  1. What data we collect and why

This website collects a minimal amount of personal data. We collect only what is necessary and for specific, legitimate purposes.

  1. a) Contact form When you submit a message through our contact form, we collect your name, email address, and the content of your message. We use this information solely to respond to your enquiry. We do not store this data beyond the period necessary to handle your request.
  2. b) Analytics We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our website – for example, which pages are visited most, how long visitors stay, and which countries they come from. This data is collected in anonymized and aggregated form. No individual user is identified. Analytics data is used exclusively for reporting purposes to the European Commission as required under the EU FACTOR Grant Agreement.

You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking at any time by using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on available at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

  1. c) Cookies This website uses cookies – small text files stored on your device – in two categories:

Essential cookies: necessary for the website to function correctly. These cannot be disabled.

Your consent – for analytics cookies and newsletter subscriptions. Legitimate interests – for responding to contact form enquiries. Legal obligation – for data retained as part of EU grant reporting requirements under the EU FACTOR Grant Agreement.

  1. Who has access to your data

Your personal data is not sold, rented, or shared with third parties for commercial purposes.

Data may be shared with the following parties strictly for the purposes described above:

Google LLC – for website analytics (Google Analytics). Google’s privacy policy is available at policies.google.com/privacy.

Consortium partners – Dedalus Cooperativa Sociale (Italy) and Ligue de l’Enseignement – Fédération des Bouches-du-Rhône (France) – may receive anonymized and aggregated project reporting data as required under the EU FACTOR Grant Agreement.

The European Education and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA) – as the managing authority of the CERV programme, EACEA may access project data as part of its grant monitoring and audit responsibilities.

  1. How long we keep your data

Contact form enquiries: deleted within 6 months of the enquiry being resolved. Analytics data: retained for 26 months in Google Analytics, in line with Google’s standard retention settings. Grant-related records: retained for 5 years after the final payment of the EU FACTOR grant, in compliance with the Grant Agreement retention obligations. Newsletter subscriptions: retained until you unsubscribe.

Under the GDPR, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

The right to access the personal data we hold about you. The right to correct inaccurate or incomplete data. The right to request deletion of your data, where legally permitted. The right to object to or restrict the processing of your data. The right to data portability. The right to withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. Our website uses HTTPS encryption. Access to any personal data is restricted to authorized personnel only.
