HANA Centre launches Call for Applications for the International Youth Newsroom

As part of the EU FACTOR project, HANA Centre is looking for motivated young people from Lezhë County who are passionate about media, storytelling, and making a difference in their community, to join the International Youth Newsroom. This is a unique opportunity to collaborate with young people from Albania, France, and Italy, to develop practical knowledge and skills in civic journalism, and contribute to combating disinformation through fact-based reporting.

Who can Apply?

HANA Centre is looking for young people who:

  • Are 15–29 years old;
  • Live in or come from Lezhë County;
  • Are curious, motivated, and interested in community issues;
  • Want to gain hands-on journalism experience;
  • Have no prior experience in journalism (training will be provided).

What Will Participants Do?

Selected participants will:

  • Learn how to identify disinformation and fact-check online information;
  • Produce articles, podcasts, and videos;
  • Work with an international editorial team from Albania, France, and Italy;
  • Publish stories and reach a wider audience through the EU FACTOR platform.

What Will They Gain?

Participants will benefit from:

  • Training in digital journalism, media literacy, and fact-checking;
  • A certificate of participation in an EU-funded project;
